Jillian McElroy
Director
Hello my name is Jillian McElroy. I am a Director and Preschool
Teacher at Creative Care Too. I have been a part of The Creative
Care Family since 2006. I graduated from Chaplain College in
Burlington, Vermont with my degree in Early Childhood Education.
I absolutely love working with children and can’t imagine doing
anything else. When away from work I like to spend my time with
family and friends rock climbing, skiing, camping and swimming.
Jennifer Vena-Perry
Director
*Hello, my name is Jennifer Vena-Perry and I am the Director here at
Creative Care. I graduated from West Chester University in May 1998
with a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. After graduating I
took a position working with infants at the West Point Child
Learning Center for the Merck Pharmaceutical Company. Although my
degree was in Elementary Education I quickly realized where my heart
belonged; working with young children. During my three years there I
was quickly promoted to Supervisor of the Infant Suite. Through that
position I further strengthened my leadership, time management, and
organizational skills, which prepared me for my future position as a
Center Director.
*I worked at Tot-Time Child Development Centers, Inc. for five years
as a Center Director. There I was able to work closely with other
directors in the company to learn more of the skills and techniques
that were essential for my position. As a Director, I take a lot of
pride in providing a clean, safe learning environment with educated,
personable staff who take the same pride in educating and caring for
young children.
As a parent of two wonderful children, I feel that I am more
understanding of the needs and concerns of the parents at my center.
I also feel that being a mother has served as an additional learning
experience. It has provided me with knowledge about the growth and
development of young children that cannot be obtained from college
courses. I think every parent knows that raising your own child(ren)
is completely different from teaching someone else’s. I am looking
forward to the many chapters that are yet to come!
*I was very enthusiastic about the opportunity to open a new center
for the Creative Care Childcare Company in November 2006. With the
help of my dedicated staff I feel I have created a center that you
and your child will look forward to attending everyday!
