Directors Bio

Hello!  My name is Michele Gorski and I am a Director at Creative Care.  I graduated from Gwynedd-Mercy College in 1999 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology.  Before college I counseled children at the local YMCA in a before/after school and summer camp program.  Although I pursued a career in the mental health field for eight years I eventually returned to the field of childcare, where my passion lies.  Upon returning, I spent two years as a Pre-K teacher at a center in Norristown and then became the Pre-K teacher here at Creative Care in Jeffersonville.  In 2009 I began training with the company to become a Director.  I am proud to say that I am now the Director of Creative Care’s Norristown Center! 

I completed the Director’s Credentials Program through the PA Keys from Reading Area Community College, as well as numerous trainings concentrating on the Keystone Stars Program and Child Observation.  I am currently enrolled in Arcadia University, pursuing a PA Teaching Certification and Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Education.

My goal as a childcare provider is to create a safe environment filled with encouragement and opportunities for growth in all facets of the children’s development.  I believe a classroom full of laughter is a classroom full of learning, and strive to build positive relationships with each child and between the children themselves.  As a mother of I appreciate the unique qualities each child brings to our program and build a daily curriculum to allow for each individual to flourish.
